Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical operations in our behavioral health practice. In this role, you will manage a caseload, supervise clinical staff and counseling interns, ensure high-quality clinical documentation, and participate in strategic and administrative meetings. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our clinical services while supporting our mission to provide outstanding mental health care.
Responsibilities
Clinical Work
- Maintain a caseload of 10-14 clients, providing direct clinical services as needed.
Staff Supervision
- Provide 4-5 hours of individual supervision weekly to clinical staff.
- Conduct 1 hour of group supervision for counseling interns.
- Participate in the hiring process for counseling interns.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Address any clinical issues or concerns that arise within the team or with clients.
Clinical Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Manage and maintain accurate clinical documentation for yourself and your supervisees.
- Audit client files regularly to ensure compliance with clinical and administrative standards.
Administrative
- Attend weekly team meetings to discuss clinical cases and practice programming.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Clinic Director and in weekly administrative meetings.
- Complete weekly screening calls with prospective clients.
- Engage in strategy meetings to contribute to practice programming and improvement initiatives.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent is required.
- Completed supervision training, or willing to complete the required supervision training promptly.
- Strong clinical skills in at least two therapeutic modalities is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
