Senior Application Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for a newly built application, Liquid Manager, which is set to go live in the coming months. This role involves troubleshooting incidents and providing ongoing support for the application, which is used by internal finance and commercial teams. The position is focused on monitoring and supporting application feeds (both inbound and outbound), ensuring smooth operation as the app rolls out to end users. This is a pre-production environment, so the role will involve early-stage testing and investigating tickets for new features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application support for Liquid Manager, an internal application on the KOP cloud platform (with over 1,000 users).
- Troubleshoot incidents and investigate tickets related to application issues and new feature requests.
- Monitor inbound and outbound data feeds within the application, ensuring proper integration with internal systems.
- Work with AWS S3 and Parquet files to manage data files (AWS S3 and Parquet file knowledge is a must).
- Support users during application rollout and assist in tracking incidents using ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and escalate issues.
- The role includes an on-call schedule once every two weeks, with weekday support and weekend coverage for critical issues.
Required Skills & Experience: MUST HAVE
- Cloud Computing: Strong experience with AWS S3 and cloud-based environments.
- Data Management: Familiar with Parquet files and handling large datasets.
- SQL Knowledge: Proficiency with Postgres, Duck DB, and Redshift.
- Programming Knowledge: Experience with Python and Rust (knowledge of both is sufficient; no coding required).
- Experience using ServiceNow for incident tracking is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and support applications in a cloud platform environment.
