The Manager, Executive and Equity Compensation will oversee the execution and administration of the company's global equity executive compensation programs. The Manager will work closely with the Director, Executive and Equity Compensation, and other key stakeholders to design, implement, and manager compensation initiatives. The Manager will also oversee an analyst who will support the administration and analysis of equity compensation programs.
Job Functions:
- Oversee the administration of international equity programs, including the maintenance of equity system data for new hires and terminations.
- Manage the annual equity grant process, including the preparation of grant agreements and administration of vesting schedules.
- Manage the global equity platform to administer awards, process transactions, and ensure accurate settlement of equity transactions, including grants, releases, and forfeitures.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and best practice in executive and equity compensation to ensure the company's programs remain competitive.
- Implement and administer ongoing executive compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, long-term incentives, and other executive benefits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5 years’ experience in equity and executive compensation or a related field. Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of equity and executive compensation programs, regulations, and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with equity compensation software and systems is a plus.

Scope:
- The Manager, Executive and Equity Compensation will oversee the execution and administration of the company's global equity executive compensation programs.
Problem solving:
- Partner with internal and external auditors to conduct routine audits, ensuring all equity and executive compensation data is reported accurately and timely while maintaining compliance controls.
Impact:
- Provide guidance and support to employees and executives regarding equity and executive compensation programs and related matters. Prepare and present educational material and communications to equity grant recipients and executives to support understanding and appreciation of compensation programs. Act as the go-to expert for equity related inquiries from employees, internal teams, and external partners, providing precise and comprehensive information.
Leadership:
- Oversee and mentor the equity compensation analyst, providing guidance and support in their role.

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Weekend and Holiday shifts are required.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
