Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality management, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order in a high-volume environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Develop, implement, and maintain housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Monitor daily activities of housekeeping personnel, ensuring proper completion of tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Create and manage departmental budgets, track inventory, and ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain the housekeeping department's inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring stock levels are adequate and ordering supplies as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation meet established standards.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments, including front desk and maintenance, to address any guest or operational concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
- Report and follow up on any maintenance issues or repairs needed in guest rooms or public areas.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar managerial role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
