Position Overview:
As a Marketing Manager you will act as the key marketing point of contact between Holley’s Euro & Import Division and Holley’s centralized marketing organization. Additionally, you will work cross functionally between our product management and engineering teams to support the division in launching well-placed, well-timed, and thoughtful product. You will be responsible for championing the values and voice of our brands in this vertical as we take aim and execute on growing our market share. You will play a key role in collaborating on brand strategy, execution of the marketing deliverables for new product launches, stakeholder in the allocation of the marketing budget, marketing campaign planning, and creating awareness on existing product lines. This role reports to the Division Leader for Euro & Import.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management of marketing deliverables for several of our core business units and brands, including AEM, Dinan and APR, and more
- Develop product marketing messaging and ensure its properly deployed through the different facets of marketing
- Manage the New Product launch process – turn engineering data into compelling new product releases, gather and verify price files, message maps, ensure product attributes are complete and consistent, etc.
- Align the Euro & Import marketing budget with the needs of the business and work cross functionally with the central marketing team to successfully launch and report on campaigns
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses and provide regular reports to ensure projects are executed within allocated budgets
- Develop and maintain project timelines, identify critical milestones and dependencies and allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives
- Collaborate and build compelling, professional presentations with a keen eye for brand-positioning, new product incrementality, sales-centric language, and leadership requests
- Aid in the documentation and updating of brand guidelines, principles, and general brand stewardship (logos, brand voice, style, current vs future direction, etc.)
- Ability to assess competition (pricing, brand positioning, and technical function) and support the product team in creating strong and incremental features, benefits, and value propositions for new product launches
- Familiarity and comfort with doing market research and performing general marketing functions
- Strong knowledge of customer segmentation and demonstrated strength in understanding how to cater language, technical details, and complexity to a variety of target audiences
- Partner with our creative and centralized merchandising teams to ensure our brand campaigns connect seamlessly across channels
- Help drive brand awareness; be impactful in making our brands household names
- Travel to other company facility locations, trade shows, motorsport events, consumer car shows, and possible offsite strategic meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related field
- 5 years professional experience marketing technical products, preferably in the automotive aftermarket. Candidates who can demonstrate an ability to quickly learn technical aspects of automotive products, the automotive aftermarket, and the industry’s stakeholders will also be considered
- 4-8 years professional experience related to Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Product Management, Online Content Editing, or E-commerce
- Strong grammar, copywriting, and copy-editing abilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented collaborator
- Business-oriented mindset when approaching all principles of the role
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) required. Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
