What are the responsibilities and job description for the Simpson Race Products- Customer Sales and Technical Support position at Holley Performance?
Simpson Race Products, a leader in racing and motorcycle safety products, has an immediate opening for Customer Sales and Tech Support representative at its facility in New Braunfels, Texas.
This position will provide tech sales/customer sales support to all customers who contact Simpson via phone, email, online request or in our store front.
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Commission/bonuses available!
Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):
- Provide Tech Sales/Customer Service to all customers who contact Simpson via phone, in-person, email, or online request.
- Update sales orders in the system with accurate information and detailed notes based on each customer interaction.
- Assist customer walk-in sales and service.
- Answer product questions and technical questions.
- Document and report technical or quality issues to product teams.
- Provide suggestions for new products.
Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience required):
- Being a racing/car enthusiast is not required, but it is a plus!
- Ability to maintain concentration while on the phone for 6-8 hours per day
- Basic computer programs such as Microsoft Suite.
- Telephone etiquette is required.
- Organized individual with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Professional and positive attitude with customers and teammates.
- One year of customer service/technical support experience preferred.
- High School Diploma and/or GED required.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is not required, but it is a plus!
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform extensive standing, sitting, walking, and climbing; lift 20 lbs. regularly; manipulate up to 40 lbs. with assistance in picking up and moving stock materials and supplies; and wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials.
