Description
The Manager in Training program is designed to provide exposure to various departments within the company, including Safety, Mining, Ready-Mix Concrete, Asphalt, Dispatch, Sales, Fleet, Procurement, Community Relations, Lab Operations, and Quality Control. This program aims to help participants understand Holliday Rock's core operations and develop the skills necessary for success in a leadership position within this unique industry.
Essential Functions of the Position :
- Collaborate with teams across all departments to learn their processes and operations.
- Develop leadership and problem-solving skills through hands-on training and real-world experience.
- Visit plants to gain practical experience in operations, quality control, and mining equipment use.
- Conduct quality control through job site and lab testing.
- Write detailed reports on experiences, meetings, and external events.
- Attend cross-department meetings and external events.
- Propose new ideas to improve current processes.
- Complete a final project highlighting your strengths at the end of the program.

Additionally, the ability to lift 25 pounds is necessary.
