SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW
Completes tasks to ensure all departments and areas of the building are working correctly and safely. The work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintenance Technician
Repairs customer racks; wheels, brakes, curtains, etc.
Snow removal; plow truck, snow blower
General building repairs
Cardboard and plastic baler
Battery maintenance on PIT machines
Continuous improvement and 5S requests from building management
Build vertical pallet racking
Works with internal customers for any other needs
Performs other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS - Maintenance Technician
High School diploma or equivalent
Attentive to detail
Strong verbal communications skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work with people at different levels within the organization
Ability to use expertise to resolve issues
Ability to drive a variety of PIT machines
Ability to work independently
Experience with electrical is a plus
Experience with drywall is a plus
Comfortable working at heights
Experience with general building repairs
