Position Overview
As a Manager in Training (MIT) at Rebel Convenience Stores, you’ll learn the skills to manage daily store operations and lead a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Reporting to the Retail Area Manager, this role offers hands-on training and mentorship from experienced Store Managers and Retail Area Managers to prepare you for a Store Manager position. In this role, you’ll oversee a welcoming and efficient store environment, ensuring that team members and customers alike enjoy a positive experience. With clearly defined policies, procedures, and goals, you’ll receive the support and guidance needed to thrive in a structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing all daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train team members to provide outstanding customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
- Manage inventory, vendor interactions, and cash handling procedures.
- Support staffing efforts, including hiring and scheduling.
- Adhere to state and federal labor laws, coordinating with Human Resources as needed.
- Contribute to store profitability by up-selling products and promoting company offerings like car washes.
