Holliston High School has an opening for a Substitute Special Education Teacher. This position starts in late February 2025 and is anticipated to end at the end of the 2024/25 school year. Holliston High School is looking for dynamic individuals to help cultivate strong academic curiosity in our students. The school and district have strong commitments to authentic learning experiences and continue to look for ways to engage students with diverse learning needs. Holliston High School is always looking to increase student voice and agency so that students take ownership over their learning and see the classroom environment strongly connected to the community through meaningful and relevant work. This position will work with students identified as needing support with academics, life skills and vocational tasks.

- MA DESE Severe Disabilities Licensure
- SEI Endorsement
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct IEP meetings and complete all related paperwork
- Monitor progress towards IEP goals through data collection
- Create a differentiated learning environment, adapted to the individual student’s learning needs and strengths, learning style, communication and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with related service providers and coordinate services for assigned students
- Develop and implement student schedules in order to ensure that student goals are being addressed
Qualifications:
- Experience delivering small group and individual instruction for all content areas
- Experience implementing behavior support plans for a range of students (inclusion and sub-separate)
- Experience working with multi-level team
