Millwork Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer at Hollman Inc., you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our locker products. You will be responsible for designing, modeling, and refining products using SolidWorks, focusing on parametric solid modeling. Additionally, you will work closely with our ERP system to ensure seamless product data and process integration. Are you a proactive person who excels in your area of expertise? Job Responsibilities
- Integrate product data into the ERP system to streamline the manufacturing and inventory management processes.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, machine drawings, 2-D drawings, CAD drawings and material callouts, and/or material processing note requirements.
- Responsible for assisting with manufacturing projects and process improvements.
- Assist in programming or reviewing CAM code for factory machining.
- Experience with 3D software required (Solidworks, Solidworks PDM) in conjunction with architectural projects.
- Create Bill of Materials for projects and coordinate with purchasing for procurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure designs meet functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective criteria.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in design and manufacturing technologies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Experience with Infor Syteline ERP system.
- Understand drawings, floor plans, elevations, finishes etc.
- Ability to create top-down, equation-driven parametric models in Solidworks.
- Ability to program 2.5-axis CNC equipment. Experience programming Homag-WoodWop or Biesse Group is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.

- Six Sigma certifications & Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
