Role: IT Project Manager
Location: Hybrid, mandatory 3 days a week onsite in East Metro, MN
Rate: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $64.60–$74.25, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Purpose:
Lead an internal IT team and technology delivery vendors, in partnership with business partners, to implement IT infrastructure capabilities.
Use formal project management methods to initiate, execute, and control pre-defined projects, employing full stage gate methodology. Manage medium to large efforts/projects/tasks and serve as a subject expert in an individual contributor role. Change management experience required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accountable for project results along with project sponsor.
- Manage relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Determine project scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
- Document project activities, sequences of milestones, dependencies, and task durations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional IT and business teams to resolve interdependent issues.
- Ensure issues are escalated to appropriate teams and authorities.
- Manage trade-offs between scope, cost, schedule, and customer benefit while maintaining quality and minimizing risk.
- Guide the project team to deliver a quality solution through standard testing and support models.
- Proactively manage project budget.
- Track and report status, issues, risks, and financials to management.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Program & Project Management Basics: Implement proper program and project management practices/tools. Understand, break down, and report status of deliverables.
- Navigate Ambiguity: Evaluate situations, drive the team forward through complex work, and escalate appropriately.
- Relationship Building: Create and maintain trust with business partners, build quick relationships within IT, partner with internal and vendor project managers, and present to director/VP level sponsors and stakeholders.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and team skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or business management.
- Skilled with project management tools – JIRA, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Office 365 products.
- Five to ten years of related experience with demonstrated success delivering projects on-time, within budget, and in-scope.
