Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative duties to ensure optimal functioning of both HR department. The responsibilities include organizing, coordinating, scheduling and performing various recruiting and onboarding duties to ensure vacant positions are fulfilled in a timely manner. The HR recruiter will be a hybrid role that requires in office time for training, meetings , facilitating new hire orientation and on an occasional basis.
Essential Job Function:
- Establishes and maintains job postings for open positions, working closely with HR Generalist to ensure current recruiting needs are being met.
- Facilitates New Hire Orientation.
- Maintains all recruiting platforms with current information.
- Arranges interviews and phone screens with potential candidates.
- Maintains personnel files and maintains HRIS information.
- Assists with employee benefit administration, including: new hire enrollment, annual open enrollment, benefit termination for exiting employees and reconciliation of monthly benefit invoices.
- Initiates order of background checks.
- Assists with HR Audits.
- Attends and participates in team meetings, staff meetings, and supervision as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred. One (1) to Three (3) years’ experience performing administrative duties in an office setting.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HR best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite required, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $37,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
