Position: Second Shift Shipping and Receiving Teammate

Job Description:

The Shipping and Receiving teammate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products in and out of the warehouse. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, verifying items, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for shipment.

Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving team include, but are not limited to:

* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as needed

* Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are packed securely and labeled correctly.

* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition.

* Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely shipment of custom print products.

* Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items.

* Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

* Unload and organize products in the warehouse according to designated locations.

* Adhere to all policies and procedures at HCP

Job Skills:

The Shipping and Receiving team should possess the following skills/knowledge:

* Forklift certified – Two years’ experience is preferred

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Previous experience in a shipping and receiving, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.

* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Basic Math Skills

* Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Educational Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Vocational School / industry training

Other Requirements:

* Reliable Transportation

* Able to stand for 8 hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
