Accountant

Accountant / Bookkeeper with Healthcare Industry Experience needed for a Surgery Center seeking a part-time Accounting professional to oversee the full cycle accounting functions of our facility. This role is essential in supporting our management team, board of directors, and physician partners.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform full cycle accounting using Microsoft Intacct.
• Update and reconcile banking transactions and vendor checks.
• Track purchase orders and review vendor contracts.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and reconcile vendor statements.
• Monitor facility costs against budget and provide insights to management.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of revenue cycle management software with financial statements

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience required Healthcare industry a plus.

- College Degree in Accounting or Finance

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with the team.
