Responsibilities
- Participate in project pursuits and design review meetings
- Develop CAD/Revit models and plans for architectural and engineering projects
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery while coordinating with project managers, senior engineers, and support staff
- Prepare and develop project narratives, cost estimates, plans, and specifications
- Assess existing buildings and ensure compliance with building, energy, and electrical codes
- Engage in lighting design and photometrics
Requirements
- Must be located within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering License with willingness for additional state registrations
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in design of power distribution and controls
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and telecommunications systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
Preferred Skills
- Background in surveying, assessments, and field inspections
- Experience in writing specifications for electrical equipment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products
- K-12 school and water/wastewater project design experience
