What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President - Real Estate position at Holman Inc?

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Vice President- Real Estate.
As part of the Holman Leadership Team, the Vice President-Real Estate will have oversight and responsibility for the full life cycle management of Holman's diverse real estate portfolio.
What will you do :
- Develop long-term real estate strategies to align with overall company objectives and goals with a focus on the optimization of Holman's real estate portfolio in all domains (buy, sell, lease, develop, new construction, renovate, maintain)
- Oversee functional delivery teams including Regional Project Management, Real Estate Development, and Facilities Maintenance
- Direct ownership of all real estate activity to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Establish strong, positive working relationships with internal partners such as Legal, Finance, and Business operations. Provide regular updates to key internal stakeholders and / or Steering Committees on strategy, planning, budget, performance and outcomes.
- Develop and performance manage relationships with third-party partners such as property management, owner partners, lenders, investors, and brokers.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting real estate development.
- Ensure team is aware of any compliance, environmental standards, building codes, or other legal requirements throughout the development process. Ensure risk mitigation strategies are identified to protect company assets and investments.
- Maintain and operate Holman's facilities with high-quality standards
- Create and implement a workplace strategy to optimize real estate portfolio for team members incorporating fit-for-purpose workspaces, balanced dedicated vs collaborative allocations, with modern and sustainable materials and technology
- Identify and implement processes, tools and technology to continuously improve the Real Estate function
- Build and lead a high-performing real estate development team including short and long-term planning of the Real Estate organizational structure
- Mentor, inspire, and coach team as it relates to a broad range of real estate areas including development, construction as well as personal and professional development to foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the department.
- Ownership of the Real Estate department's administrative budget and adherence to annual organizational budgets and performance targets
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Pay :
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $255,870.00 - $402,995.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
