Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Travel
This position requires up to 15% travel. Some of the travel may be on the weekends.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating the company communication materials including public relations, media relations, social media, promotional and marketing materials, direct mail and company identity program. This position will have a function relationship with the Marketing Communications team in the Netherlands.
Essential Functions

- Assists with the creation of the annual media plan that supports the marketing plan
- Assists in preparation of marketing plan, long- and short-term strategy, budget and tracks project costs to control expenses.
- Coordinates advertising, purchasing incentive, and promotional communications projects, including print, electronic, special events, social media and direct mail, to fulfill those aspects of the marketing plan.
- Executes tactical activities related to digital and social media presence in coordination with Marketing Communications Plan.
- Assists in development of trade show strategies and schedules, and manages all major trade shows. Coordinates all trade show logistics and collateral in a timely fashion. Attends major trade shows.
- Develop necessary product literature and collateral; Maintains inventory of all company collateral and promotional materials
- Supports requirements for external company communications such as press releases, email blasts and bulletins
- Assists with marketing surveys gathering data to support marketing metrics related to promotional projects.
- Ensures adherence to corporate identity standards for all MarComm tools and activities.
- Assists with the support of promotional storefront in conjunction with our vendor.
- Designs small projects for video, social media, and web projects. Arranges photography and other services for company events.
- Maintains company mailing lists; Creates and approves mailing lists with input from all departments
- Assists with surveys, focus groups, and other research to measure effectiveness of marketing communications.

- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of four 4 years of marketing experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a marketing, communications, or related field.
- Experience executing social media plans.
- Experience creating effective email marketing campaign.
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems (SF.com a plus).
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
- Experience in the First Responder market
- Experience with major event marketing, such as the Indy 500
- Experience writing press releases, speeches, or presentations
