What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock and Delivery Staff position at Holmdel Buy-Rite?
Holmdel Buy-Rite, a growing and exciting local beverage retailer, is seeking talented new staff to continue our tradition of providing great customer service and competitive prices on a diverse selection of fine beer, wine and spirits.
A typical day for our staff may include:
- ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- maintaining shelves and restocking inventory
- delivering customer orders with the company vehicle fleet
- receiving deliveries from vendors
- crafting gift baskets or wrapping gifts for customers
- entering customer information and invoices into the retail management platform
- light cleaning duties, including sweeping and dusting
- occasionally processing customer transactions at point of sale
Qualifications:
- minimum high school diploma or GED
- flexible schedule required, including availability on weekends, evenings and holidays
- excellent team player
- organized and responsible
- strong cash-handling experience
- self-directed and able to accomplish multiple tasks at once
- ability to stand and work in a fast-paced retail environment for many hours at a time
- must be able to life up to 40 lb. cases of product
- must be 18 years old to work in the sale of tobacco and alcohol
- knowledge and interest in beer, wine and spirits a plus!
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
