Holmer Americas is a subsidiary of Holmer Maschinenbau, supporting farmers in the U.S. and Canada that produce Sugar Beets. Holmer Americas primarily handles sales and service for Sugar Beet harvesting equipment and also participates in some light manufacturing.
Job Summary:
Holmer Americas is seeking an organized and efficient Inventory Clerk to join our team. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing and organizing parts and equipment inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained, and supporting the operational needs of our service and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage an efficient inventory system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and store parts, machinery, and supplies in designated locations. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all items are properly labeled and easily accessible.
- Order Processing: Assist with processing inventory orders to ensure parts and equipment are available when needed for repairs, maintenance, and sales.
- Stock Retrieval: Retrieve parts and equipment for technicians and customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Data Entry: Accurately record inventory data, including parts received, issued, and returned, using inventory management software.
- Parts and Equipment Organization: Ensure the inventory storage area is clean, organized, and safe, with all parts and machinery properly labeled and rotated.
- Customer Service: Assist technicians and customers with identifying and selecting parts, offering product recommendations when needed.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including receipts, invoices, stock logs, and inventory records to ensure smooth tracking and reporting.
- Other responsibilities may be included on an as needed basis.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to use inventory management software and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment up to 50lbs.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or outdoor environment, following safety protocols.
Other Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- The busy season for sugar beets is the fall during the harvest, typically ramping up in August and finishing before Thanksgiving. During this time, longer days and weekends will be required to support our customers when they need us most. Must be able to work this schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
