We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Program Coordinator to support our program management team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our client captive insurance companies. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the program management team with internal and external preparations for annual member meetings.
- Familiarize yourself with captive layer loss reporting.
- Support the onboarding and implementation of new captive clients.
- Assist with the renewal process and coordinate data submissions with external partners.
- Review, analyze, and summarize various types of data.
- Maintain and manage client files.
- Understand and analyze stop loss carrier forms and policies.
- Gain familiarity with captive insurance company operations and workflow.
- Understand components of employee benefits and self-funded medical coverage.
- Education: High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
- Licensing: Obtain and maintain an active Life/Health insurance agent’s license within 90 days of employment.
- Experience: 0-3 years of customer service experience in an insurance company or agency environment.
- Skills & Technical Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with database management systems; strong mathematical skills; excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of employee benefit coverages, ability to read, understand and analyze life and health coverages, forms and policies. consistently participate in internal and external educational opportunities to enhance knowledge of current insurance topics or relevant system improvements. Actively fosters relationships by seeking to understand appropriate parties, prioritizing problem solving, and collaborating to deliver unique and impactful solutions.
