The Quality Assurance Team is responsible for the implementation, effectiveness and integrity of the Surgical Quality Management System. The QA team ensures that the QMS is compliant to applicable standards and regulations as well as implement improvements and required regulatory updates.
The Quality Assurance Intern will work on developing tools to create and track Product Labeling Requirements, among other activities.
Throughout the 10-12 weeks you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:
- Lead the development of Product Labeling Requirement documentation
- Create a process with best practices to complete Product Labeling Requirements for future products.
- Participate in meetings/working sessions with the Quality Assurance team, as needed, for other projects.
We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:
- Able to work full-time over the summer months (May/June – August/ Sept)
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior
- Majoring in Engineering/Biomedical Engineering preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided
