We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Contracts Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing, negotiating, and overseeing the execution of various contracts, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. This role requires a deep understanding of contract law, excellent business negotiation skills, and the ability to interact comfortably with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, service contracts, confidentiality agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Lead contract negotiations with customers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
- Engage internal customers across sales and marketing leadership to ensure business goals are implemented into negotiation strategy.
- Ensure all contracts comply with applicable legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on contract terms and conditions to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
- Develop and implement contract management processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing, legal and finance, accounting and other departments to support contract-related activities.
- Recommend strategies to maximize sales while mitigate contractual risks.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure contractual terms meet their expectations while ensuring alignment to business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing leaders, finance and legal, accounting, and other departments.
- Train and mentor junior contracts specialists and other team members as needed.
Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of industry standards and best practices in contract management.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and contract drafting techniques.
- Awareness of risk management principles and strategies.

- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Juris Doctor (JD) is strongly preferred.

Additional Info:
The annualized base salary range for this role is $86,600 to $135,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant
experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
