The Holokai is the newest sailing catamaran in Waikiki that offers the unique experience of boarding straight from the beach. We are looking for an experienced waterman/waterwoman to join our team as a snorkel guide! We are world famous for our sailing tours off Waikiki Beach. Snorkel Guide - Holokai Catamaran – (Waikiki)
Holokai Catamaran is currently accepting applications for a snorkel guide to join our dynamic team that offers great benefits. We are looking for an individual that has the ability to free dive up to 25 feet underwater, the ability to find equilibrium when diving to the required depths, and the ability to swim up to 200 meters unassisted and without rest.

Starting pay is $25/hour based on experience, plus gratuity.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist guests with snorkel gear (fitting, sizing, usage)
- Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality
- Vigilance about the safety of our guests, both on board and in the ocean
- Strong communication skills (ability to capture the attention of 34 people at a time)
- Ability to listen to instruction and learn from the captain and crew
Qualifications and Skills
- MUST PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DOT & USCG DRUG SCREENING
- MUST PASS CONTINUIZED RANDOMIZED DOT & USCG DRUG SCREENING
- Swim up to 200 meters unassisted and without rest
- Free dive up to 25 feet
- Be onboard a boat in the ocean for up to 7 hours without experiencing motion sickness
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Observant and detail oriented
- Efficient in cash handling
- High energy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to be punctual and dependable
The Environment
You will be working in an outside environment. It is important that all members of our crew are able to be exposed to the sun and salt water for extended periods of time. We provide sunscreen for our crew and guests, but it is important that each individual takes their own protections while on the job (applying sunscreen, wearing hats, etc). Uniforms are required and will be provided by the company. You will work closely on a team with our captains and crew to ensure a enjoyable, smooth, and safe experience for our guests!
