Position Summary
Holon Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Recovery Coach (Certified Peer Recovery Specialist) in the state of Indiana. As a Recovery Coach, you will act as a vital member of our organization, providing support and guidance to individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) who are on the path to recovery. You will utilize your personal experience with recovery to inspire and empower others, helping them navigate challenges they may face during their journey. You will be responsible for building strong relationships, providing support, and assisting with the development of recovery plans.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Establish a trusting and supportive relationship with individuals seeking care, serving as a role model and advocate.
- Utilize your personal experience with recovery to provide empathy, understanding, and encouragement to individuals facing similar challenges.
- Conduct individualized assessments to identify strengths, needs, and goals of individuals.
- Collaborate with participants and Holon Health’s care team to develop personalized recovery plans, setting achievable objectives and milestones.
- Connect participants with appropriate resources and community support services such as medical care, housing assistance, and employment/educational opportunities.
- Stay up to date on current trends, research, and best practices in the field of addiction recovery.
- Collaborate with Holon Health care team, external medical professionals, and judicial points of contact to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for participants.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Other duties as assigned based on new initiatives for engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with substance use recovery.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals in various stages of recovery.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to actively listen and provide non-judgmental support.
- Knowledge of addiction recovery principles, evidence-based practices, and resources available in the community.
- Understanding of challenges and barriers individuals face during the recovery process and the ability to provide guidance and support.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Coach in the state of Indiana is required.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in a Peer Recovery Support role strongly preferred.
