General Summary:
The Receptionist/Greeter is responsible for greeting all patients, vendors, and incoming visitors in a friendly and personable manner. This position will also answer a multi-line phone, complete general office duties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be pleasant, friendly and professional when greeting visitors and callers
- Direct patients and other visitors to the facility to the desired location, giving clear, easy to understand directions.
- Answer the multi-line phone, connecting the calls to multiple offices, taking messages, answering questions or completing tasks associated with the call as needed.
- Complete general office duties such as simple alphabetizing/filing, sorting of paperwork, confirming appointments.
- Work with Specialty offices to help with the referrals: contacting insurance companies, speaking with patients and obtaining information related to the referral.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Knowledge:
- High School or equivalent required
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- 2-3 years experience in an office setting
