Job Summary : The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Holt Industrial Rentals, will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving lead generation efforts. This position will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify and qualify leads, build relationships with prospective clients, and contribute to the overall sales pipeline.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis : 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal / external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions :
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLTs Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Lead Generation : Researches and identifies potential business opportunities through outbound efforts, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement
- Lead Qualification : Qualifies inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, and other channels to determine their potential for conversion into customers
- Sales Outreach : Initiates and maintains communications with potential clients to introduce our products / services and build relationships with key decision-makers
- Pipeline Development : Maintains and manages a robust sales pipeline by effectively tracking and following up on leads using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Collaboration : Works closely with Account Executives, Sales Managers, and Marketing teams to create strategies and solutions that align with client needs and objectives
- Market Research : Stays up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs to ensure relevant outreach and value proposition
- Reporting & Documentation : Maintains accurate records of sales activities and interactions with leads; Provides regular updates to management on lead generation progress and sales pipeline status
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
