HOLT Truck Centers in Oklahoma City is looking for a full time Used Truck Sales team member. A Sales Account Manager is responsible responsible for promoting Used Trucks to existing customer base while expanding market share to meet territorial and corporate objectives. Develops assigned territory, implements territorial sales plans to grow business, and maintains current customer base. Influences and grow sales with new business opportunities within assigned market area / territory. Continually collaborates with Sales Manager to fulfill business plan.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily : 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal / external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions :
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Responsible for the sales and marketing of Used Trucks into the construction, commercial and aggregate industries
- Provides coverage and support of existing customer base
- Develops new business markets and opportunities
- Prepares and presents sales contracts and finance purchase options
- Prepares territory and call plans, sales reports, expense, and sales activity reports
- Develops new accounts and maintains accounts currently assigned
- Formulates bids on new and existing jobs and projects
- Identifies and acquires new market opportunities
- Receives customer orders and serves as the customer contact point
- Collaborates with other departments to generate sales leads
- Assists in familiarizing customer on equipment
- Aids in implementing, sustaining, and developing quality improvement processes that focus on safety, financials, operations, and customer service
- Maintains records of sales or other business transactions
- Prepare sales or other contracts
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
