Key Responsibilities
- Transport, load, and unload essential equipment for various projects.
- Identify and locate existing utilities to ensure safe operations.
- Prepare cable routes and facilitate the feeding of cables.
- Secure the job site to maintain safety protocols.
- Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, backhoes, vac trailers, bore rigs, and bucket trucks.
- Restore job sites after project completion, including tasks like adding topsoil, seeding, and pouring new concrete.
- Ability to handle physical labor for extended periods, including moving around the site for 8-10 hours.
- Proficient in digging and creating trenches for cable placement.
- Capability of spooling and unspooling cable, sometimes exceeding several hundred feet.
- Possession of a Class A CDL is preferred; however, candidates without a CDL are encouraged to apply and can obtain training through our program.
- An acceptable driving record in accordance with insurance standards.
- Willingness to travel primarily throughout Southeastern WI, with home weekends if not nightly.
