Key Responsibilities
- Transport, load, and unload essential equipment
- Identify existing utilities with precision
- Prepare cable routes and effectively feed cable
- Ensure job site safety and security
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, backhoes, vac trailers, bore rigs, and bucket trucks
- Restore job sites post-project completion, including topsoil application and concrete pouring
- Ability to transport and handle equipment efficiently
- Competency in utility location and cable route preparation
- Strong focus on safety at job sites
- Experience with various construction machinery
- Physical stamina for activities such as digging and shoveling
- A valid Class A CDL is preferred, but candidates without a CDL are encouraged to apply, as they can obtain one through our training program
- Must have an acceptable driving record as per insurance requirements
- Willingness to travel across the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin, with home time primarily on weekends
