Position: Utility Laborer

Key Responsibilities:
As a Utility Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Equipment Operators and Foreman to complete job orders efficiently.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
· Collaborating with our experts to work around existing utilities.
· Digging trenches and locating existing utilities, an essential part of our utility construction process.
· Spooling and unspooling cable, providing you with an opportunity to master this skill.
· Assisting in equipment operation and print reading through on-the-job training.
· Loading and unloading work supplies.
· Taking care of equipment maintenance and ensuring a clean and organized job site.
Physical Demands:
· Must have efficient eye-hand coordination.
· Must be able to perform physical labor involving frequent lifting (over 50 lbs.), carrying, bending, and shoveling.
· Must be able to work long periods of time, including nights and weekends.
Additional Duties:
As you grow within the company, you'll have the chance to take on more responsibilities, such as reporting equipment problems, setting up pedestals, driving ground rods, reading telephone and/or CATV prints, and even operating equipment like a backhoe, trencher, plow, box pusher, or tamper.
