Senior Accountant

Individual is responsible for overseeing general accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the company's financial goals. This role will work closely with management to analyze financial data, maintain compliance, and improve accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Manage the preparation of corporate tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring proper account classifications and adjustments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings, audits, and external reporting requirements.
• Support payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
• Maintain financial records and documentation to support internal and external reporting.
