Performs patient care duties delegated by the RN related to patients’ personal needs, comfort, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Scrubs/sets up for endoscopy procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the endoscopy team.
- Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments, and equipment related to endoscopic intervention.
What you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
- Endoscopy Technician certification or minimum of one (1) year experience within the specialty area.
- Experience in Endoscopy, EGD, Colonoscopy and high-level disinfection with scopes
- Associates degree in Endoscopy Technology or Gastroenterology preferred
