What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Analyst position at Holy Cross Hospital?
Job Description:
Procure products to ensure established service levels, inventory turns and par levels for product in-stock. Set up and procure special order product requests.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain relationships with vendors by resolving problems with pricing, product, or delivery to ensure quality service and longevity of relationships.
Procure quantities of product based upon present and future demand, utilizing economic order point (volume discount vs. efficient utilization of warehousing space), promotion of product, and overall market conditions.
Provides beneficial solutions to slow moving and aged inventory, minimizes spoiled and obsolete inventory through proper buying decisions and effective communication.
Ensures proper pricing through confirmation of all orders, questions uncommunicable price changes and variances to expected pricing.
Ability to use independent judgment following already established guidelines and procedures.
Investigate continually for less costly and/or improved items for the distribution.
Establish with vendors, proper just-in-time parameters for punctual deliveries.
Continually analyze the distribution hand-on inventories verses vendor-hand-on status.
Contribute to inventory control through daily on-hand summary reports.
Create, maintain, and update inventory reports.
Maintain spreadsheet for obsolete and at-risk items.
Work with The Materials Director on inventory allocation
Maintain necessary records, track items and perform data entry as needed.

Special licensure required for the position: No
Education: bachelor's degree in any program just looking for a college degree.
