What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Practice position at Holy Cross Hospital?
Job Summary:
- According to established protocols, conducts clinical assessment of the patient's healthcare status and needs and provides patient care to facilitate expected patient outcomes.
- Triages emergency walk-in patients.
- Assess patients for pre-operative clearance.
- Provide counseling and education to patients in order to enhance patient care.
- Documents care provided in order to support the continuity of patient care and optimum patient outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited school of Nurse Practitioner.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida.
- At least 2 years of related clinical experience.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
