Afternoon preschool assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing support within a dynamic educational environment, particularly in private school settings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess skills in lesson planning, behavior management, and special education. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.

Duties

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and curriculum development tailored to the needs of students.
• Support classroom management by helping to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Engage with children in various activities, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
• Provide individualized support to students, particularly those with special needs or autism.
• Collaborate with educators to develop strategies for behavior management and effective communication with students.
• Help organize and facilitate activities that enhance children's learning experiences in preschool or daycare settings.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children under your care.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare or daycare settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus.
• Experience working with children with special needs or autism is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
• A background in behavior management techniques will be beneficial.
• A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
