Holy Innocents Episcopal School (HIES) is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher. HIES is the largest Episcopal Parish day school in the country, offering a fully accredited college preparatory program for students age three through 12th grade. HIES is located north of downtown Atlanta between I-75 and GA 400.

- Experience teaching science in grades 6-8 (Earth, Life and Physical Science).

Typical Duties
- Instruct five sections of science classes in grades 6-8.
- Deliver lesson plans and monitor student performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional activities and environment.
- Update and maintain student academic records and performance metrics.
- Communicate regularly with parents, students and colleagues regarding student progress.
- Act as a grade-level advisor.
Educational and Other Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required. A masters degree in education, science or STEM fields is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching. Prior experience teaching middle school preferred.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background screening, drug testing and safety training required.
