GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The Regional Career Development Coordinator (RCDC) assists with and coordinates day-to-day activities, projects, instructional operations, recruitment, job development, and placement of HBI students for Workforce, Training & Employment (WTE) program sites. The incumbent will attend citywide and statewide meetings representing HBI and will support the development of program initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :
Student Recruitment and Placement
- Implements and participates in outreach and recruitment strategies.
- Recruits, screens, and selects the most appropriate students for the program to ensure contractual obligations are satisfied.
- Works closely with WTE team members in fulfilling placement and follow-up needs of programs as applicable with documentation.
- Regularly communicates with the National Placement Manager and peers in other regions for job development and placement opportunities for students relocating to other areas.
- Places students in employment as required by contractual guidelines.
Places Intro, PACT & Trades graduates in full-time employment with industry related focus.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :
Internal : HBI Executive Team, HBI Board of Trustees, and staff at all levels
External : Community channel partners, vendors, contractors and system(s) end users
REQUIRED :
Any combination of relevant experience, training and skills equivalent to Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field. Plus one (1) year of related experience (e.g., career development, counseling, and / or project / program management, etc.) .
PREFERRED :
WORKING CONDITIONS :
Usual office-type working conditions; routine physical conditions include walking, carrying, standing, hearing / listening, and sitting.
