JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and/or experience in the Strategic operations of a small business. The Human Resources Representative will provide guidance regarding organizational structure, communication strategies, employee relations, and staffing for a rapidly growing business to help ensure the company’s talent can keep pace with an expanding customer base.
The Human Resources Representative will work remotely with onsite representatives to complete a variety of HR-related administrative duties. Duties include recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. As well as, communicating with employees regarding employment status, pay changes, hours worked, leave balances, additional changes in personnel data, separation letters, wage garnishments, and unemployment research and correspondence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates onboarding, orientation, and beginning of training for new employees
- Maintains organizational structure and staffing levels
- Heads recruiting and talent acquisition strategies
- Assures accurate employment records and processes are maintained
- Responds to requests for verification of employment and wages
- Completes basic data or system queries and reports as requested
- Responds to employee inquiries related to general employment information
- Produces employment-related letters and spreadsheets
- Performs audits to ensure completeness of files
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assists employees with year-end tax information (W2s)
- Other miscellaneous duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Ability to multi-task and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Accurate and consistent data-entry capabilities with strong attention to detail
- Business acumen
- Strong organization skills
- A positive and welcoming customer-service attitude
- Must be able to keep employee information confidential
