Job Description
Animal Care Technician and Trainer is responsible will be working as part of the ACT team with animals that require more experienced handlers. The duties include,
- Assisting the lead Animal Care and Behaviorist in executing training plans for dogs
- Specialist with difficult to handle dogs
- Routine animal care and management
- Routine medication delivery
- Kennel and yard cleaning
- Maintaining required record and notes
- Other duties as assigned
- Flexibility to work mornings or evenings and fill in when there are last minute shift vacancies.
This is an important role for the success of the mission of this organization and reliability, experienced dog trainer, and ability to handle any animals are critical to success in this role.
