## Overview
Home Care is growing at a faster than we can keep up with! We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our family of caregivers. As a Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need, particularly seniors and those with developmental disabilities.
## Duties
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transferring for clients who require help
- Implement memory care techniques for clients with cognitive impairments
## Experience
- valid New York State PCA or HHA certificate
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and empathy are essential for this role
Job Type: Part-time
