Summary
In the role of Home Health Staffing/Recruiter, you will be instrumental in sourcing and recruiting qualified healthcare professionals to meet the staffing needs of our organization. You will leverage your core skills in talent acquisition and communication to build strong relationships with candidates and clients. Your premium skills in negotiation and technical recruiting will enhance our hiring processes, while your relevant knowledge of employment and labor law will ensure compliance. This position requires a proactive approach to recruiting, fostering a supportive environment for both employees and clients in the home health sector.
Duties
- Solely responsible for the staffing of all client cases and employee files.
- Recruits qualified staff to fulfill current and new case needs on a daily basis
- Must meet a weekly hiring and orientation quota.
- Meets with the Director of Nursing or Administrator on a weekly basis to determine staffing needs for the agency.
- Obtains staff for all open cases, scheduling interviews on a daily basis.
- Must meet a weekly interview quota.
- Ensures all client shifts are staffed to ascertain client health and safety.
- Ensures staff are not scheduled into overtime status each week.
- Answering phone lines professionally; evaluate caller needs/direct to appropriate administrative staff.
- Greet all guests professionally and direct them accordingly.
- Maintain sign-in log at front desk.
- Contacting, scheduling and conducting interviews for qualified candidates.
- Effectively screen all staff to ensure they are qualified for an applicable position as appropriate.
- Identify and attend job fairs and similar events to acquire qualified staff/educate on services of the agency.
- Attends at least one job fair per month.
- Search really and other job boards for candidates and identify other methods for staff recruitment.
- Identify methods to recruit staff for the agency – CNAs, PCAs, HHAs, RNs and LPNs as well as administrative staff as directed.
- Completion of all reference checks after each interview, in their entirety.
- Compose and complete client calendars each month for each client.
- Send out completed calendars to applicable field staff no later than 15th of each month for the following month.
- Audit employee files on a weekly basis updating employee database.
- Notify employees of upcoming expiring documents to ensure renewed documents are received timely.
- Complete and facilitate annual evaluations for field staff.
- Maintain spreadsheet database consisting of each employee and mandatory employee file documentation dates and outstanding information for weekly auditing purposes.
- Schedule monthly training for employees (first aid/CPR, human rights, monthly training, in service training and supervisions).
- Purge and discharge employee files, filing them into the correct location.
- Perform on-call rotation as instructed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
