CNA/Med Tech with Dementia experience in Silver Spring, MD

Looking for a caregiver with Dementia and Diabetes experience - Shift details Monday thru Wednesday - 7:00am - 6:00pm and Sundays from 9:00am or 10:00am for 6 - 8 hours.... (39 - 41 hours per week)

Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must be a Medical Technician
- Experience working with Dementia clients
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test.
- Must be a pet lover (Cats and Dogs) - No pet care required

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Personal Care (Standby for assistance)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor glucose levels and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage the client in conversation and activities
