Home Helpers Home Care Manassas-Gainesville is a small, professional, and agile business offering compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking a dedicated caregiver to assist a client with mobility and personal care needs. This role starts with one day per week, but there is potential for additional hours depending on the candidate's availability and client needs.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with transferring the patient from the bed to a wheelchair and preparing for a bath on Fridays after 1 PM
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities, including dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities
- Light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up and laundry
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous caregiving or related experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Part-time (1 day a week, Fridays after 1 PM, potential for additional hours)
- Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
- Expected Hours: 1 day a week to start
