Providing stabilization and assistance with walkingPreparing meals and cleaning up meal-related itemsAppointment remindersPerforming light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)Washing and ironing laundryRunning errandsAccompanying clients to appointmentsProvide Personal Care services which could include :Assisting with bathingAssisting with groomingAssisting with toileting and incontinence issuesProvide Specialized services which could include :Advanced Alzheimer’s / Dementia CareHospice CareMedication AdministrationProvide medication remindersSecondary Responsibilities :
Complete all required training designated by franchise office.Participate in company sponsored training and social events including Care Pro meetingsReport hours according to office policy & communicate changes in availability in a timely mannerParticipate in annual Engagement and Pulse SurveyDocument client information in Client Journal or within the operating software appMay require you to run errands and provide incidental transportation for a client using your vehicle or a client’s vehicle.Perform other reasonable duties as assignedEssential Job Requirements :
Ability to learn technology for franchise offices using the home care tablet and for online training and development.Ability to lift, push or pull 25 poundsAbility to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reachPossess a valid driver’s license or state identificationPossess valid auto insurance (if applicable)Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutionsAbility to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respectAbility to adapt to various living environments and locationsAbility to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial mannerThis document describes the general nature and level of work for the position.
