Job Summary
The Home Health Agency Administrator plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our home health agency, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality care to our patients. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the home health agency, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage medical records, including documentation review and maintenance of patient files.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
- Supervise office staff, providing training and support to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Utilize software systems such as Dentrix for managing patient information and scheduling.
- Ensure accurate billing processes are followed, particularly related to Medicare services.
- Monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or home health setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical records management and documentation review.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and billing practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
