In the role of Home Health Scheduler, you will be integral to coordinating patient services and ensuring efficient operations within a home health setting. Reporting to the office manager, your core skills in medical administrative support and patient service will be essential in managing schedules, handling medical records, and providing clerical support. Your proficiency with computer systems and EHR platforms will enhance communication and streamline processes. Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate home health visits for patients, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families regarding scheduling and care instructions.
- Utilize EHR systems to track appointments and update patient information.
- Provide clerical support, including answering multi-line phone systems and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in medical collections and ensure accurate billing processes are followed.
