Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Billing, A/R, and Account Collections Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our billing cycle, from generating invoices to collecting outstanding payments. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices to customers
- Assist with insurance verification
- Send timely payment reminders via various communication channels
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Investigate and resolve billing disputes and discrepancies
- Respond to client/customer inquiries regarding invoices and account status
- Generate routine accounts receivable reports, including aging reports
- Perform routine collection activities, including contacting customers with overdue accounts
- Maintain accurate records of all billing and collection activities
- May be required to perform special projects as directed by the supervisor
- Assist with general billing activities and other ad hoc tasks
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise
- Experience with WellSky
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and data manipulation).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proven ability to resolve customer issues and maintain positive relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
