Job Description
Saint Joseph, MO : Home Instead is looking for evening and weekend caregivers in the Saint Joseph, MO area. These are part-time positions and would be great for college students, or anyone who who can work after school! We are seeking individuals with some weekend availability, to ensure consistent, high quality care for the aging adults we serve.
If you Qualify, We want to talk to You!
- Previous caregiving experience, either professionally OR as a family caregiver.
- You can work evening and / or weekend shifts up to 8 hours in Saint Joseph, MO and some surrounding areas. (example shift times could be 12pm-5pm, 5pm-10pm, or overnight))
- You have a valid U.S. Driver's License, Auto Insurance & a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients.
- You're able to pass a Criminal and Motor Vehicle Background Check.
- You can stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull for up to 8 hours.
- You're able to lift, push or pull 25lbs.
- Compassion, patience and empathy.
- Problem solving.
- Collaborative nature, ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- We are currently seeking Non-Smoking Applicants
