Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team and play a key role in producing high-quality construction drawings. The ideal candidate has at least two years of drafting experience and a strong portfolio of completed projects. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of handling multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Create accurate and detailed construction plan sets in a timely manner.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure compliance with codes and company standards.
- Review and refine drawings as needed to meet project specifications.
- Produce 40-70 full construction plan sets per year.
- Be available for night and weekend work as required to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years drafting experience
-Must provide 10 previously completed plans, with at least 5 being block construction at the job interview for review
-Knowledge of construction codes and best practices
-Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
